电触点的接触不良是一个棘手的技术难题。任何一个稍为复杂的机电系统都会采用各种各样的电接触元件,如:开关、插头、旋钮、按键、连接器和继电器等,只要其中一个电接触元件接触不良都会导致系统的部分和整体失效。如何保证电接触元件100%长期可靠连接,一直以来困扰着机电设计与维护工程师。在恶劣的使用环境中,即使采用贵金属保护镀层(如铂、钯、金、 银等),电极的可靠性与使用寿命仍会大大降低。机械磨损、化学腐蚀、大气尘降、触点回跳、弧光放电所导致的复杂物理化学过程是目前所知导致接触电阻上升的主要原因。

Poor contact is a tricky technical question. Any slightly complex electromechanical system will use a variety of electrical contact elements, such as switches, plugs, knobs, buttons, connectors and relays. As long as there’s one poor electrical contact, it will lead to partial or overall system failure. How to ensure 100% long-term reliable connections of the electrical contact, it has been troubling the electromechanical design engineers and maintenance engineers. In the harsh operating environment, even with the precious metal protective coatings (such as platinum, palladium, gold, silver, etc.), reliability and service life of the electrode will be greatly reduced. Complex physical and chemical processes caused by mechanical abrasion, chemical corrosion, atmospheric dust, contact bounce and arc discharge are known to be the main reason for rise of the contact resistance.

充分发挥触点的电接触性能是一件非常重要的事情。多年来,各国的工程师们为解决这一难题做了大量而有益的工作,但都是基于如何保持触点表面的洁净和干燥而展开的。以往,采用清洁触点的方法一直被广泛地应用,但在彻底解决触点接触电阻值高的问题上未能有新的突破。

It’s very important to give full play to the electrical contact performance of contacts. Over the years, to solve this problem, engineers from various countries have done a lot of useful work, but they are all based on how to maintain a clean and dry contact surface. In the past, the use of clean contact has been widely adopted, but it failed to break new ground in the problem of high contact resistance value.

触点润滑剂对接触电阻而言非常重要。这种润滑剂首先需要具有较低的电阻值,其次,降低接触电阻是提高各种连接器、继电器和开关等器件的载流量、延长电接触系统使用寿命的必要条件。

Contact lubricants are very important to contact resistance. First, the lubricant is required to have a low resistance value, and secondly,reducing the contact resistance is essential to increase the current-carrying capacity of various connectors, relays, switches and other devices, and to extend the service life of the electrical contact system.

当两个接触面非常靠近的时候,凸出部位间的空隙处产生电弧。
When the two contact surfaces are very close, there will be arc in the gap between the protruding parts.

电流通过很小的接触面积导致形成“热点”。
A current through the small contact area leads to the formation of "hot spots".

接触面间的摩擦会造成磨损或电镀金属层的破坏,从而形成碎片沉积。
The friction between the contact surfaces can cause wear or damage to the plating metal layer,thus generating debris deposition.

使用触点润滑剂可以填补触点间的空隙并消除微小的电弧.

清洗工艺在降低触点接触电阻方面发挥了一定作用,但在如何保持接触电阻稳定性方面则效果甚微。而通过使用触点润滑剂这一新工艺则能发挥更大的作用,这种材料具有导电、抗磨损、耐腐蚀以及抗污染等多种功能,可提高电极寿命3-20倍,是一种性能优异、价格低廉、施工方便的电极表面处理与防护工艺。在很多应用领域可部分或完全取代贵金属保护镀层,综合性能指标甚至更优。。

Cleaning process has played a role in reducing contact resistance, but the effect is minimal as to how to maintain the stability of the contact resistance. The application of contact lubricants can play a greater role. It has functions of conductivity, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, anti-pollution and so on. It can improve electrode life by 3-20 times and it is an electrode surface treatment and protection process in high performance, low cost and easy construction. In many application areas, it can partially or completed replace precious metals protection coating with better comprehensive performance index.

对于电子器件而言,有两个重要的环节必须采用触点润滑剂。第一,在零部件的制造过程中,合理地使用触点润滑剂可以有效地避免触点表面在贮藏和运输过程中因锈蚀而失去光泽,因为触点表面的质量状况对其电气性能而言极为重要(在成分结构相同的情况下)。第二,对于暴露在空气中的电接触部件由于要不断遭受脏物和尘埃的污染,则必须使用触点润滑剂对触点进行保护。

For electronics, there are two important aspects when contact lubricants should be used. First, in the manufacturing process of parts, the rational use of contact lubricants can effectively avoid luster loss of the contact surfaces due to corrosion in the storage and transportation process, as the quality of the contact surface is very important to its electrical properties (in the same composition and structure). Second, for the electrical contact part which is exposed to air, contact lubricants should be used for protection since it will be polluted by dirt and dust constantly.

触点润滑剂普遍应用于高端的电子工业,(如军工、航空航天、汽车电子等),而随着民用和工业用电子产品的要求不断地提高,应用环境也变得复杂和不可预测,所以,触点润滑剂的使用也开始逐步被普及。

Contact lubricants are commonly used in high-end electronics industry (such as military, aerospace, automotive and electronics, etc.). With the requirements on civil and industrial electronic products are constantly improved and application environment are becoming complex and unpredictable, the use of contact lubricants also begins to gradually spread.
